PLAYS
I grew up with a college professor and a pre-school teacher for parents, and so we spent a good chunk of our summer vacations in an RV, driving across the United States. We would hike or bike up mountains, around lakes, to find out, with a percolating combination of curiosity and awe, where unfamiliar paths would lead us.
Those experiences filled me with a joy for the myriad of ways in which life forms us. That joy has carried me across a few more continents, and along some interesting paths. With each new experience, I add little flecks of colored clay to the aggregate sculpture that is me. And with my little Canon Powershot A520, I’ve done my best to capture those flecks of color as they forever become fused with me.
